I have a solid idea on pricing for my burger pop up but I want to get some opinions on what ya’ll think a legit cost would be? Also the only other burger options are in town ( 10 min drive down the hill) are fast food or fancy sit down spots, and no smash burger options. TIA!

I’d pay 12 bucks without thinking. $14 or $15 for a chips/drink combo
Which desert?
15
I’m surprised by all the $10-11 answers. Five Guys charges more than that (with the caveat that perhaps it’s not a great value).
Across pop ups, food trucks and fast casual near me, that would cost anywhere from $13 to $18 for a double patty bacon smash burger.
The biggest question is not proximity to other burger places, it’s whether it’s better than your competition. People will travel and pay more for a great burger, they will not for a merely good burger.
You should also mention your location.
That looks like an $8 but your scenario includes scarcity, which could easily drive it upwards of $20.

How much is the water?
With fries and a drink id pay $12 for that bad boy , $10 would be EXTREMELY competitive
£10
Probably not stopping unless it was already a planned destination or maybe you sell gas and I’m running low.
We got places to go so no one is gonna know what you are selling
$10 would be awesome, but I wouldn’t be surprised for it to be $12 and I’d be ok if it’s at $12 also!
Burgers should be $10
$9.99 max, anything more for a sandwich needs to be like a full 12 inch sub. If I saw that for $15 like some people are saying, I’d keep right on going.
Especially because smash burgers (my favorite) use way less meat than those bigass burgers other places make. Smash burgers should always be cheaper than normal burgers.
$13 if fries are included. Otherwise $11
Just the burger. Maybe $10
Curious, what’s your cost for ingredients?
Not that it matters necessarily to the consumer, but just trying to think the other way around, if you need to pay for food, labor, equipment, etc.
I’m sure you’ve thought about it that way, but I’d be interested to hear where you’re at!
10-15 most likely $12
$9-$12
$14 all day. Limited options, looks great, add fries and a drink for a $18 combo
$15 wouldn’t offend me.
If you charged $10 for it and included a drink I think you’d probably get LINES
12$ all day
No offense to OP, I just remember a time when a $5 burger was unheard of (and I’m only 34) man inflation has gone crazy 🙂↕️
$9.99
What state and part of which city are you in? If I’m near Santa Monica or Manhattan beach that’d be 15-20. If I’m in San Fernando Valley that’d be $10. How many ounces is that patty? How legit does that pop up look? To me it’s more about how good that burger is bc ten minutes ain’t far.
20$ and I’d be super appreciative that you’re out there!
That’s a good looking burger but is everyone here from San Francisco? These prices are wild.
$8.

I mean, how much I’d pay might depend on how hungry I am!
I think it is a scale with $7-8 being “Damn thats a good price!”, 9-11 is “what i’d expect”, 12-13 is “gosh i guess” and 14+ is “I’m not buying this”
about tree fiddy
Just the burg? $8
$10, or $12.50-13 for a combo. I’m assuming popup means no indoor seating so I’m I’m still having to eat that out in the hot desert air I don’t wanna pay premium.
I don’t care, I’m buying it.
I have family who have homes in Joshua Tree. I am gonna have to find you!
Those onions are perfectly caramelized. Shit looks bananas good.
10-12$
